Travis Whidden, CTO and co-inventor, has been involved with SmartConnect from the beginning. As a co-inventor of the SmartConnect system, Smartconnect grew at a rapid rate delivering ahead of the curve technologies that had never been seen before in the surveillance industry.
Travis has over a decade of development experience using classic to state of the art development technologies. Travis left Smartconnect to work for WMS Gaming in 2006 as a Principal Engineer developing new gaming technologies. While there, Travis submitted 6 patent ideas and strengthened the development efforts in the Reno team. He later moved to become President and CEO of AMHosting, LLC, a Reno based webhosting facility. Travis was able to introduce new technologies that automated business processes.
Travis also is President and CEO of another consulting company HJT & Associates. Henry Valentino and Jeremiah Morrill (both co-inventors of the Smartconnect product line) are also owners of HJT. Their company has been providing consulting support for Smartconnect and several other major accounts over the last 2 years. HJT is a web based technology company producing web applications for commerce and reservation systems.
Travis returned to SmartConnect in May 2008 as Chief Technology Officer.
